Comments:
  • Email asks you to confirm/update/verify your account data at eBay by visiting the given link. You will be taken to a spoof website where your details will be captured for the phishers.

  • eBay never send their users emails requesting personal details in this way.

  • The REAL URL of the spoof website looks nothing like the actual eBay URL.

"We are writing to alert you that your balance is not paid, because Your card issuer declined our attempt to charge Your card with your monthly invoice amount."

Dear Value Member,

We are writing to alert you that your balance is not paid, because Your card issuer declined our attempt to charge Your card with your monthly invoice amount.

To speed up this process, you are required to verify your account information.

As a courtesy, our company will automatically make a second attempt to charge your card. This attempt will take place in about 2 to 5 days.

Best wishes,
Laurie Waddell
Customer Department.
