eBay Security notice - Email Scam

This eBay security notice is a scam ...

This spoof email arrives in HTML format with a forged eBay form (see image below) which asks you to provide your eBay account details and name and address details, etc.

We found that the destination for data entered in to the form had been hard coded into the email. Any information provided is processed using a PHP script which is located at jeanbosselectronics.com - which is registered to an individual in California USA and is hosted by Yahoo Inc.

If you have received this email, please remember that it is very common for these email scams to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first, although not necessarily from the same apparent sender.
