2. eBay never send users emails requesting details in this way.

4. Spoof website had just been disabled at time of report, so this is probably no longer a danger.

" Hello, A complaint has been filed against you in the Fraud Reporting Form at eBay."

If you have received this email, please remember that it is very common for these email scams to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first, although not necessarily from the same apparent sender.

The Spoof Website ...

Spoof website had just been disabled at time of reports. This page is in it's place:

This redirection account has been suspended

If you have come to this site from an e-mail informing you of problems with your account on eBay, you have been the victim of a scam called phishing. The site originally established here would ask internet surfers to enter personal data such as credit card numbers, in order to try and gather valuable information which could later be used fraudulently.

We have shut down this redirection account and will do our best to ensure that we catch any future offences. No further action is required on your part and you can safely ignore and delete the e-mail which led you to this page. If you wish to send us a copy of any of the scam e-mails you received you can either e-mail admin@qn.com or use our Abuse Report form.

Thanks,
qn.com admin
