A
very genuine looking but forged eBay sign in page comes by email to trick users
into entering their user names and passwords to the wrong people... This
spoof eBay email (see image below) is in HTML format and consists fo a complete
but bogus eBay sign in page. The email is coded to send any data submitted to a PHP script
located at jdscot.com which resolves to Yahoo Inc's web hosting service. PHP
script is a common method used to process form data, as is the attempted theft
of eBay users log in details and accounts are frequently hijacked. Accounts that
are stolen in this way are also commonly used to list high value items and collect
payments from winning bidders who will not receive the goods. If you have received this email, please remember that it is very
common for these email scams to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly
different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different
provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common
place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first,
