Another instance of a domain name which
is constructed to look like a genuine ebay URL ... On this occasion, eBay users are faced with a spoof email (see
image below) which directs their browsers to bogus content at a domain with a
URL which has been constructed to look like a genuine ebay site (see image below).
A brief look at the URL may well fool many users, but it is actually a sub domain
of 4t.com - http://signin.ebay.co.uk.4t.com/ Any information submitted is
processed through a third party site which specialises in processing form data
to email for subscribers. If you have received this email, please remember that it is very
common for these email scams to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly
different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different
provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common
place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first,
although not necessarily from the same apparent sender. The Spoof Email ...
