A cleverly scripted email which opens the forged Yahoo content into itself rather than a web browser...

This spoofed Yahoo email is a concern to us - instead of opening the web page forgery in a new browser window (as is usual), this email has been scripted and coded to open it within the email itself, denying recipients the opportunity to view the page URL. Additionally, the forged page suggests that your are signing in in secure mode, which is not the case at all. Be aware of this kind of email and please ensure that your friends and colleagues know about this new method.

Further reports have been received concerning this phishing scam and alternative forged content is in use.

If you have received this email, please remember that it is very common for these email scams to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first, although not necessarily from the same apparent sender.
