An eBay email threatening account suspension is part of a Phishing Scam ...

If you have received this email, please remember that it is very common for these email scams to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first, although not necessarily from the same apparent sender.

We have reasons to think that there are some problems with your eBay account. It is posible that these problems may cause your account to be temporarily suspended. Please login to your account by clicking here and check if all your personal information are right.

As per the User Agreement, Section 9, we may immediately issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your membership and refuse to provide our services to you if we believe that your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability for you, our users or us. We may also take these actions if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information that you provide to us.
