Method	Spoof email links to a spoof webpage where victim is prompted to enter their details believing the site is genuine. Details are then forwarded to a local script and captured.

RISK LEVEL	HIGH
WARNINGS	1. Email claims to be from Lloyds TSB asking you to confirm your account data. Link takes you to a spoof login page. If you try to login your details will be captured and forwarded buy a script to the scammers. 2. Lloyds TSB never send users emails requesting details in this way. 3. Spoof webpage not available at time of report. It may have been disabled, but similar working versions are bound to appear so be alert. 4. Code in the email disguises the real URL of the link to look like http://www.online.lloydstsb.co.uk when the mouse is moved over the image. 5. All of the email text is contained in a single image - a technique used by phishers and scammers to get past spam filters. 6. URL traced to a server in Dallas, USA.

If you have received this email, please remember that it is very common for these email scams to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first, although not necessarily from the same apparent sender.
