Fake eBay email and Sign In page scam

This fake eBay email has been in distribution from 20th October 2003 and we also have an image of the email. This is just an image of the original, so there is absolutely no code included and none of the links or buttons will now work. The image shown has been reduced to 80% of the original size

The Fake Email...

The fake email suggests that you need to re-enter your sign in information into the form provided due to a 'Security Update'.....

The Fake Web Page...

The fake web page had been removed when we investigated this hoax, but please bear in mind that scammers quite often relocate thier fake web pages to another server, and we will be monitoring this for future developments. It is clearly apparent that the page is a hoax when you see the URL/web address in your browser's address bar.....
