This Paypal email is a hoax and has a virus attachment ...

Remember the previous mass mailing of fake Paypal email with the Mimail virus attachment? Well, its back with a slightly different email and a revised file name ..... paypal.com.pif.

Take a moment to read up on the detail in that previous fake email and be aware that the email below is the one that is now in circulation with the virus attachment. The previous report gives more detail on the virus and has a link to a removal tool.

If you've received one of these emails, block the sender's address in your email client or interface because we are receiving many reports of several copies arriving in each users' inboxes.

In the vast majority of cases, the attachment is being removed by mail servers, so there is a reduced risk of infection. But please ensure that you have an Antivirus program that scans email attachments, and that its virus definitions are up to date.
