World's first RSS News Feed for the latest Spoof Email & Phishing Scam Alerts

MillerSmiles.co.uk has launched the first RSS News feed service to warn web users of the latest spoof email and phishing scams.

MillerSmiles.co.uk has launched the first RSS News feed service to warn web users of the latest spoof email and phishing scams.

"Our decision to harness this rapidly growing technique of receiving the latest news to your desktop or web pages was born from our commitment to spread awareness of these scams and the lack of an existing fast warning system and decent reporting."

"We also wanted to offer other web masters the facility to publish the scam alerts on their own web pages, so we have a syndicate script generator tool. The tool gives options on what and how much content to show and displays a preview before web masters can show the latest alerts to their own visitors."

RSS News Feeds aren't new, but the service is seen as the future in web browsing. It allows surfers to see headlines and summaries from the sites than offer the RSS feed from within an email type program or web page. They can then choose to view the pages that they like from within that same program or page without having to open a new browser.

Many top sites have made the move toward offering RSS feeds with Yahoo, BBC, CNET, Slashdot and many more sites getting involved in this growing trend.

The MillerSmiles.co.uk Spoof Email and Phishing Scam Alert feed is updated frequently during each day to reflect the very latest reports. The URL for the news feed is http://www.millersmiles.co.uk/millersmiles.xml and more information on RSS Feeds can be found at http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/w-rss.html with a good free RSS Reader available for download from http://www.rssreader.com/
